1. Web Browser
All downloaded files will be saved according to your web browser’s download path settings.
You can check this on each browser’s Settings menu. (* Check available browsers)
2. Desktop App (Windows/MacOS/Linux)
Go to the Download Path setting within Send Anywhere app and check the downloaded files.
You can find the download folder via Settings > File transfer >Download Path.
3. Mobile App
By default, all files received via Send Anywhere app are saved to 'Send Anywhere' folder in internal storage. Send Anywhere app just displays your files stored on your device in each tab (Photo, Video, Audio, App, Files) of the Send menu only for the time you're using the app.
However, if the received file has a format or audio codec not supported by Android OS, you can see it in the 'Files' tab of the Send Menu in Send Anywhere app.
You can use a file management app to see all received files in the folder designated for Received Files. Check the file storage location in Settings> File Transfer> Downloads folder.
Send Anywhere auto-save all received photos and videos to the Camera Roll of Photos app by default. In Send Anywhere app, they are just displayed in the 'Photo' and 'Video' tab of the Send menu.
However, if the received file has a format or audio codec not supported by iOS, it cannot be saved in the Camera Roll of Photos app. Therefore the file is saved in the 'File' tab of the Send Menu in Send Anywhere app. Make sure that the received file is saved in the 'File' tab.
All files other than photo and video files supported by iOS are saved in the File tab of the Send menu.
※ Files saved in the File tab of the Send menu
- If you'd like to open a file saved in the File tab, download and use another viewer or player app that supports a specific file format or codec. To open in another app, select a file in the File tab, tap the 3 dots icon in the Send box at the bottom, then click the 'Open in...'.
- Please note that files in the Files tab of the Send menu are only saved in Send Anywhere app. If you delete Send Anywhere app on your device, the files in the Files tab will be also deleted.
- You can see that files in the Files tab are stored in the 'Send Anywhere' folder within the Files app. You can back them up by moving to a folder other than the SendAnywhere folder in the Files app.
※ Depending on the iOS device settings, it may not be automatically saved to the Camera Roll of the Photos app. Learn more here to change the settings.
