1. Web Browser (Available browsers)
It will be saved according to your web browser’s download path settings.
You can check this on each browser’s Settings menu.
2. Desktop App (Windows/Mac OS/Linux)
Go to the Download Path set in Send Anywhere app and check the file.
You can find the file download folder in Settings > File transfer >Download Path.
3. Mobile App
All files received via Send Anywhere app is saved on the receiving device and displayed in each tab (Photo, Video, Audio, and App) of the Send menu.
However, if the received file format or codec that is not supported by the Android OS version, you can find it in 'Files' tab of Send Menu in Send Anywhere app.
You can use a file management app to see all received files in the folder designated for Received Files for Send Anywhere. The received files for Send Anywhere folder is the one designated via the top left menu(3 lines icon) > Settings > Receive > Storage Location.
Send Anywhere auto-save all received photos and videos to the Photos app by default and it is classified and displayed in the 'Photo' and 'Video' tab of the Send menu in Send Anywhere app.
However, if the received file format or codec is not supported by iOS version, it is saved in the 'File' tab of send Menu in Send Anywhere app instead of the Photos app. Make sure that the received file is saved in the 'File' tab.
※ File in Files tab
- If you want to open photo and video files saved in the 'File' tab, please download and use another viewer app or player app that supports a specific file format or codec. To open in another app, select the photo or video in the 'File' tab and tap on the [...] more button in the Send box at the bottom then click the 'Open in...'.
- Please note that the files in the Files tab are only saved in Send Anywhere app. If you delete Send Anywhere app on your device, the files in Files tab of Send menu will be deleted with it as well.
In the File app on iOS, you can see that the files in the Files tab in 'Send Anywhere' folder are stored. You can back them up by moving them to a folder other than the SendAnywhere folder.
