Has the link expired? By default, a share link is valid for 48 hours. Send Anywhere Email Add-on subscribers can freely set a download expiration date within 1 month from the link creation date. For security reasons, all the files get deleted from the server once the link expires. You should create a new link or ask the sender to share a new link.
Is the link deleted? Even if the downloadable time remains, the link expires as soon as the link owner deletes it. You should create a new link or ask the sender to share a new link.
Are the files entirely uploaded to the link? The recipient cannot complete the download if the files are not wholly uploaded to the link. You should create a new link again or ask the sender to share a new link. When marked as ‘Completed’ —not 100%— in Transfer History, the files have been entirely uploaded, and the link has been created successfully.
Does the link still have enough download data? When you try downloading files from the link, you get this message "Download failed because the shared link creator’s download data limit has been exceeded." If the link creator's download data runs out, receivers can no longer download from the link. Download data means traffic data used when downloading files from the links you created. Depending on the membership, the monthly download data available per account differs. Free members can use 10GB of download data per month. If you subscribe to Send Anywhere Email Add-on, Lite members can use 200GB of download data monthly; Standard members can use 500GB of download data monthly. You should ask the link creator to check their download data usage. The link creator needs to upgrade their plan or purchase an optional product(Download Data Reset) for recipients to continue downloading from the link.
Is the link with a limited number of downloads? Send Anywhere Email Add-on subscribers can limit the number of downloads for the link. You should request the sender to increase the number of downloads.
Do you enter the password correctly? Send Anywhere Email Add-on subscribers can share their files more safely by setting a password. You must enter the correct password to download them. You should ask the link owner for a valid password or request to reset a password.
Does the link not open in your web browser? If the download page does not normally open when you click the link, there is likely a problem with your web browser itself. You should the web browsers supported by Send Anywhere — Google Chrome, Apple Safari, Firefox, Naver Whale, and Opera browsers.
If the file you are trying to download has a file format or codec not supported by your iOS version, it cannot open in a web browser. You should install and use Send Anywhere app on your iOS device.
It can be a situation where many recipients download it from one link simultaneously. If there are a lot of concurrent recipients, the traffic can surge, so it can be challenging to transfer smoothly. This is a temporary situation. Please wait a while and download it again.
